Mytrip Deleted My £190 Voucher Balance Without Warning and Refused to Help
I canceled a flight through Mytrip and was issued a voucher worth £233 (₺ equivalent). I used around £40 of that voucher for a new reservation. But without any warning, the remaining £190 balance disappeared from the system—completely gone with no explanation or alert.
At no point during booking or via email was I ever told the voucher was single-use. There was no clear communication that the balance would be voided after partial use. When I reached out to customer service, I was met with nothing but automated replies. They refused to help and simply pointed me to vague fine print buried deep in hidden terms and conditions.
This wasn’t just a minor inconvenience. That voucher was meant to cover my return flight. Instead, I was forced to take out a loan to buy a new ticket.
