I booked a flight for two people through Mytrip.com, but due to an urgent personal matter, I had to cancel the tickets. When I reached out to Mytrip for help, they refused to assist directly and told me to contact the airline myself to proceed with the cancellation. I followed their instructions, and the airline processed the cancellation with only a small deduction as expected.
However, to my shock, Mytrip also charged me an additional service fee of over ₺2700, completely separate from the airline’s cancellation fee. This so-called “service charge” and “commission” was deducted from my refund without clear explanation or support.
Not only did Mytrip fail to guide or assist during the cancellation, but they also profited unfairly from my situation by applying hidden fees. If I had booked directly with the airline, I would have saved a significant amount of money and hassle.
