Unauthorized $39 MyIQ Subscription Charge Without Notice
I used the MyIQ website to measure my IQ and paid only $1 for the service. I did not see any clear disclosure that a subscription would be started, and a membership was created without my knowledge.
On February 4, 2026, at around 2:27 AM, approximately $39 was withdrawn from my Garanti Bank overdraft account without my knowledge or authorization. I did not receive any SMS or email notification regarding this charge and only noticed the deduction afterward.
When I realized what had happened, I was only able to cancel the subscription that same day. However, because I was unaware of both the subscription and the charge at the time, I was unable to submit a refund request immediately. I am now requesting a full refund of the $39 that was withdrawn from my account without my consent.
