On January 26, 2026, I made a payment of approximately $1 in the MyIQ app to view my test results. During this transaction, I did not see any subscription terms, recurring payment notice, approval screen, or disclosure indicating that I was signing up for an ongoing membership. I completed the payment believing it was a one-time charge only.
However, on February 2, 2026, at 2:23 PM, I noticed that $39 had been charged to my Akbank account, linked to my card ending in 4088, by MyIQ without my knowledge or authorization. I was not provided with any notification, and I did not give consent for this charge.
As soon as I became aware of the situation, I contacted MyIQ by email and canceled the subscription associated with my account. Nevertheless, I am requesting a full refund of the $39 that was withdrawn without my permission. I ask that the $39 be returned as soon as possible to the card ending in 4088 that was used for the transaction.
