On February 17 at around 10:55 PM, I took an IQ test on the website iqtest.myıq. After completing the test, I paid $2 with my card to view the results. At no point during the payment process was there any clear disclosure about a subscription or recurring charges.
Later, after reading complaints online stating that this site charges cards under the name of a membership, I disabled online transactions for my card through internet banking. Shortly afterward, I saw that an attempt was indeed made to charge my card under a membership fee. I then contacted the website via email.
I only used this site for a one-time IQ test result and did not knowingly agree to any membership. For this reason, I do not want any subscription assigned to me. I demand that any existing or pending membership be canceled immediately, that my card information be completely deleted from their system, and that no charges ever be made to my card under the name of a membership.
