On January 24, 2026, I made a one-time payment of approximately $1 on the MyIQ.com website using my Akbank card ending in 8124 to receive a single test result. This was intended to be a one-time transaction only.
However, on February 2, 2026, without my knowledge or authorization, an additional charge of approximately $39 appeared on my account, listed as an “international POS purchase.” I did not receive any approval email, invoice, membership confirmation, or subscription agreement related to this transaction, and I did not provide consent for this amount to be charged.
I am requesting that this unauthorized $39 charge be refunded to me in full. Despite attempting to contact both MyIQ.com and Akbank regarding this issue, no resolution has been provided. Akbank informed me that they are unable to take action on this transaction. I respectfully request that this unauthorized charge be canceled, that the amount be refunded, and that a proper investigation be conducted to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.
