The MoneyGram app crashed during my transfer. How can I get my money back?

First, use your reference number to check the progress of your transfer on MoneyGram's Track a Transfer page.

If it's still not complete, cancel it from the "Transaction Details" page in your app or on the web. This is the fastest way to stop the payout and get your money back.

If you cancel through the website or app, you will get your money back within 10 business days. If you cancel in-store, you will get cash back. It may take longer for your bank to process to your account.

If the recipient has already collected the funds, the transfer cannot be canceled. If the cancellation is made within 30 to 60 minutes, fees are generally not charged, but fees may be charged after 180 days. Each country has its own rules.

MoneyGram can be reached through in-app chat or an online form if the app keeps crashing.

You will need to provide your reference number, amount, and times. They offer support channels that are unique to each region.
