Mitsubishi Service Charges $106 for Board Failure on Brand-New AC
I contacted authorized service due to a circuit board failure in my Mitsubishi air conditioner, which I purchased about a month ago. Even though the unit was practically brand new, they claimed the board was "burned out," voided the warranty, and charged me $106. On top of that, they provided no receipt or documentation for the service performed.
I refuse to accept that a circuit board failure on a brand-new, one-month-old unit is blamed on user error, voiding the warranty and forcing me to pay out of pocket. I demand that the board repair be covered under warranty, that the $106 collected from me be refunded, and that detailed written documentation of the service be provided to me.
I ask that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
