Miniso Blames Customer for Broken Bottle Caused by Store's Poor Layout
On October 19, 2025, at 2:22 PM, while shopping at the Kadıköy Miniso store, a water bottle fell to the floor because the aisles between the shelves were too narrow. Even though only the bottle's cap was broken, the employees at the register stated that I needed to pay for the product and insistently demanded payment. Despite my informing them that the narrowness of the aisles poses a risk for children and customers and that the store layout needs to be reviewed, I received no assistance whatsoever.
In the end, I was forced to pay the shelf price of $20, and my receipt number is 0015. I believe this situation stemmed from the store layout and that similar problems could be experienced by other customers as well. As a customer who frequently chooses Miniso stores, I am disappointed by this negative experience I had at the Kadıköy branch.
I request that a refund be issued, that an apology message be sent to me, and that the shelf arrangement at the Kadıköy store be corrected so that customers can shop comfortably.
