On January 22, 2026, I discovered that three transactions totaling $60 were made on my Garanti BBVA credit card through iyzico and godaddy.com without my knowledge. Even though my card is closed to online purchases, these charges were still processed, and I only became aware of them through SMS notifications.
Shortly afterward, I saw that the pending transactions had been completed. Normally, I receive a one-time verification code (OTP) via SMS before any transaction is approved, but I did not receive any verification message for these charges. These transactions do not belong to me, and I have no knowledge of what iyzico or GoDaddy are. I believe my credit card was maliciously misused through these companies, and I accept no responsibility for these unauthorized charges.
As soon as I noticed the issue, I called Garanti BBVA customer service and blocked my card. During the call, I was told that the transactions were still pending and that I could file a formal dispute the next day. However, I cannot understand how these transactions were processed when my card was closed to online purchases and no verification code was sent. This situation has caused me serious concern.
I request that iyzico and GoDaddy take the necessary security measures, cancel these transactions, and issue a full refund of the total amount charged to my card. I also have the transaction receipts and screenshots related to these charges and request that a proper investigation be conducted to resolve my grievance.
