Mindguru Life Charges Inactive Account $79 in Unauthorized Fees
About two years ago, I created an account on the Mindguru Life app. Although I did not renew my subscription after that, I noticed that on July 14, 2026, at around 6:00 PM, $28 was withdrawn from my account without my knowledge or consent. After discovering this unauthorized transaction, I reviewed my past credit card statements and realized that unauthorized charges in various amounts had also been made in previous months. In total, there are unauthorized withdrawals amounting to approximately $79.
Even though I do not have an active membership on this site, they automatically renewed my subscription on their own and continued to charge my card as if I had authorized it. Mindguru Life using my credit card information without my permission is deeply upsetting to me, both financially and emotionally.
Since I haven't used the app in a long time, I wanted to cancel my subscription and resolve the situation. Because I didn't remember my password, I submitted a "password reset" request, but no code or email ever arrived in my inbox. Consequently, I can neither log into my account nor cancel my subscription. Being forced to repeatedly pay for an app I don't use—and without my knowledge—is completely unacceptable.
The payments in question were charged to my Yapi Kredi card ending in 9368, and due to these unauthorized transactions, I was forced to cancel my card today. Money doesn't come easy to anyone; making sneaky, unauthorized withdrawals like this severely impacts me as a consumer.
I demand a written and detailed explanation from Mindguru Life regarding these transactions, the immediate and total termination of this unauthorized process, the cancellation of my subscription, and a full refund of all funds charged to my card. Otherwise, I will exercise my legal rights to the fullest extent by reporting this to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and other official authorities.
