WhatsApp Not Working on Windows 10
I’m having trouble with the WhatsApp application on my Windows 10 PC. When I tried to set up the app on a new phone and connect it to the WhatsApp desktop app, it wouldn’t open. When I switched back to my old phone, I encountered the same issue. Both phones are updated and compatible, as is my Windows 10 system, and all have working internet connections. Despite this, the app just won’t open. I tried accessing WhatsApp through a web browser, and it worked immediately.
I wrote to the Windows Store, but I found out that many others have reported the same issue for over two months without receiving any response or seeing any updates. It seems that since the company has a near-monopoly, they don’t feel the need to respond or provide updates. I think it might be time for the U.S. to consider splitting the company, similar to what was done with AT&T years ago and what’s being considered for Google. The level of irresponsibility and lack of accountability is quite surprising.
