Michelin Refuses Warranty Replacement for Slipping Primacy Tour Tires on EV

When I bought my electric vehicle brand new, it came equipped with Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires, size 245/45 R20. I have been driving the vehicle since February, and despite the tires being manufactured in the 16th week of 2025, I have experienced serious safety issues since day one.

These tires constantly lose traction during acceleration, slip on inclines, and cause the rear end of the vehicle to slide out around corners. Wet traction is extremely poor. After looking into it, I discovered that the tire label rates wet grip as Class D, which directly aligns with the issues I am experiencing. This prevents the vehicle's ESP and ABS systems from engaging properly, compromises vehicle stability, and jeopardizes both my safety and the safety of others on the road.

When I brought this up with the dealership where I purchased the vehicle, they informed me that Michelin refuses to accept any replacements or refunds regarding this issue. Considering driving conditions and the heavy electric nature of the vehicle, I believe the rubber compound and traction characteristics of these tires are completely unsuitable for this car, posing a severe safety hazard to me.

I demand that Michelin stand behind its product by issuing a replacement or a full refund—in short, resolving my issue with safe tires that are actually suitable for my vehicle.
