I purchased my KGM SsangYong Torres EVX vehicle approximately one year ago. When I bought the car, it came factory-equipped with Michelin Primacy Tour tires. Since the day I purchased it, hitting the brakes over even the smallest puddle causes the vehicle to hydroplane, with virtually zero road grip. I feel that my family's and my own physical safety is severely endangered.

Regarding this issue, I visited an authorized Michelin dealer in the Yenisehir district of Mersin, explained the problem in detail, and opened a file to request a tire replacement under warranty. However, within the same hour, my application was rejected, and the replacement was denied. I then called Michelin customer service to explain the situation, but representatives told me that while they initially replaced tires for customers who submitted early claims, they no longer perform replacements.

Michelin customer service also claimed that even though the factory-installed Michelin tires on the KGM vehicle are unsuitable for local road conditions and electric vehicle requirements, KGM chose these tires anyway. Therefore, they claimed the fault lies with KGM and that I should demand the replacement from them. As consumers, we are not tire experts; whichever party is responsible needs to resolve this issue immediately.

A car as well-equipped, enjoyable, and well-designed as this shouldn't cause us this much anxiety over a set of tires, which reflects poorly on both Michelin and KGM. I believe the voices of impacted owners need to be heard. I demand that either Michelin or KGM—whichever party is at fault—replace my tires free of charge under warranty with suitable, safe tires for the sake of our safety.

The registration date at the Michelin dealer was July 13, 2026, and my case number is 06139359.
