I Bought Sonic on MEXC Spot but My Balance Suddenly Shows Zero

I’m new to the MEXC exchange and recently opened a spot position in the Sonic pair, expecting it to stay safely in my wallet until I chose to sell. Today, however, I logged in and was shocked to see my entire account balance reset to zero. I never sold the Sonic I purchased, yet the spot holdings have vanished. Even more confusing, the funds I earned in the futures section are also gone—everything is showing as if my portfolio never existed.

How can this happen? I haven’t placed any additional orders, triggered a margin call, or withdrawn a single coin. My trade history still shows the buy order, but the asset count is missing, and the portfolio tab is blank. I contacted MEXC support, but so far I’ve only received generic responses telling me to “check transaction details,” which I’ve already done multiple times.

MEXC, I need a thorough audit of my account and an immediate restoration of my Sonic holdings and futures profits. Please explain why my balance was wiped and guarantee it won’t happen again. Crypto traders deserve transparency and security, not unexplained disappearances of their hard-earned assets.
