Metro Turizm Sold Tickets Even though There were No Available Seats
July 5, 2024 I wanted to buy a ticket for Istanbul from Afyon bus station Metro Turizm company. They said that a vehicle would arrive around 18:00, they would check if a passenger was missing and accept passengers if there was space. I said there was room at around 18:25 and paid 850 TL with my credit card. No ticket was issued to me. Around 19:00, when I got on the bus and asked where to sit, the driver said get in last. When I got on, I was made to sit in the back where there was no seat. When I objected, the assistant replied that there was nothing he could do. When I asked for a cushion, I was given a pillow. After 5-10 minutes, the driver said he wanted the pillow and wanted to take it. When I asked where I should sit, he said let's fix it. I refused, saying "get it done, come on." Then I was given a seat. They put someone in the assistant seat. Metro Turizm creates scandal after scandal.
