My MetaMask Wallet Lost $3,750 After Connecting to Bitnest
On November 24, 2025, I connected my MetaMask wallet to a website called Bitnest and participated in transactions that promised earnings through staking. During this process, a total of $3,750 worth of cryptocurrency was transferred out of my wallet and appears to have been taken by Bitnest.
Since that date, I have been unable to recover my funds. I feel that I have been continuously delayed without receiving any clear resolution, and I have not been provided with any transparent or specific information about what happened. Despite my efforts, the $3,750 in cryptocurrency taken through Bitnest has not been returned to me.
I request that the full amount of $3,750 in cryptocurrency taken through Bitnest be returned to me and that the financial harm I experienced be resolved. I also request an investigation into how connections to such websites are authorized through MetaMask and that necessary security measures be implemented to prevent other users from experiencing similar situations.
