I’m extremely frustrated with how MetaMask, Binance, and PancakeSwap have handled a serious security issue that left me stuck with an unsellable coin. I unknowingly bought a token that can’t be sold—not because of my mistake, but because these platforms allow coins with built-in restrictions or smart contract locks that make it impossible to sell once you buy.
I contacted Binance, and they flat-out told me there’s no solution other than possibly going to law enforcement. MetaMask support was just as useless—live chat offered no resolution, no accountability, and no help at all.
Why are these tokens even allowed on the platform in the first place? If there's a known vulnerability or scam tactic in the contract, why does MetaMask allow approval? Why is there no warning system to prevent users from getting trapped like this?
This isn’t just a technical oversight—it feels like neglect. I’ve lost ₺ because of a problem that could’ve easily been prevented with better safeguards. MetaMask, you need to take immediate responsibility and put real protections in place. Stop allowing tokens that deceive users and give us the tools to recover from these traps.
