Meta Pay Took Advertising Fee Even Though No Ad Was Displayed
On May 11, we shared a video on our Instagram account and created an ad for that video. Because mobile payment was disabled, the ad was not approved. We then canceled the ad.
Two days later, for a different reason, I added my credit card as a payment method to the Instagram account. At that point, a charge of approximately $41 was deducted from my account. The reason shown for the charge was advertising fees.
However, the ad was never displayed. We submitted the necessary objections and requested a refund since the ad did not run. Despite this, we received two rejection responses. We believe the fee charged by Meta Pay is unjustified, and we are requesting a full refund.
