I bought the Maybelline New York Super Lock product because it had rave reviews and seemed to be a must-have for setting brows. But after trying it myself, I honestly don’t understand the hype. From the first use, it left a thick, sticky residue and an obvious white cast on my brows. It made my makeup look messy and unnatural. I’ve used cheaper drugstore brow setters that performed better than this.
At first, I thought maybe that was just how the product was. But then I saw a friend using the same Super Lock—and hers looked nothing like mine. No white cast, no clumps. That’s when I realized I probably received a defective item.
I only used it twice before giving up entirely. It’s frustrating to spend ₺ on a product that clearly isn't consistent in quality. I’ve attached photos showing the white residue it left behind, which is very noticeable even in pictures.
Maybelline needs to check their quality control immediately. I’m asking for a replacement or refund for this defective product. It's unfair that some people get a working version while others are stuck with something unusable.
