Mavi Woke Me Up at Night With Order SMS and Ruined My Shopping Experience

On 23.09.2025 at 09:00, I purchased a product from Mavi’s website. That same day at 19:55, I received an SMS saying “your order has been confirmed,” at 00:25 another saying “your order has been prepared,” and at 02:26 in the night, “your order has been shipped.” Because of my work and living abroad, I have not turned off or silenced my phone for 25 years. In my life, I have never received messages from any shopping site at 00:25 and especially at 02:26. That night, I woke up to the sound of two consecutive messages, fearing something had happened to a loved one, and I checked my phone in great fear. When I saw the messages were from Mavi, I couldn’t help but feel disturbed and shocked. It really makes no sense for a store to send messages to customers at 2 a.m. I find it hard to understand the reasoning behind such a practice. Explanations that it was sent automatically no longer make sense to me, as other companies manage to send their notifications during the day. I believe this situation disturbs not only me but all customers, and I request that Mavi put an end to this practice and show more value to its customers. Moreover, this is not the first problem I have experienced. About two months ago, I purchased 4 products from Mavi’s online store and went to the store for an exchange. The store employee gave me the products I wanted, but instead of processing an exchange at the register, they issued a refund, and I left the store with no products in hand. They tried to resell me the discounted item at a higher in-store price. I had long conversations with customer service, but they said “we couldn’t take action” and did not resolve my grievance. All of this has caused me both financial and emotional distress, and I am writing this complaint so that other customers do not experience similar situations.

They called after the complaint, still saying they couldn't take any action. Honestly, unbelievable. Whatever I say is pointless. Whoever is responsible for this, whatever words would come out of their mouth if they received the same message at 2:26 AM, the same words came out of mine.
