Marriott Charged Me 3 Times for Shipping Forgotten Item – Poor Handling
I forgot an item at a Marriott Hotel upon checkout and immediately called to have it shipped to me. While the hotel agreed to send it, they handled the process carelessly, failing to even include a phone number on the package. As a result, the shipment was returned, and I ended up paying for shipping three times—more than what I paid for my stay at the hotel. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable for a brand like Marriott. I expected a more efficient and customer-oriented approach to resolving this issue. Marriott must take responsibility for their oversight and improve their handling of such requests. I am requesting compensation for the unnecessary costs I incurred.
