M&S Jacket Defect Denied Despite Damage After Proper Washing

We purchased a Regular Fit Hooded Puffer Jacket from the Marks & Spencer Mavibahçe/İzmir store in March, and we have only been using it for one month. During the second wash, the stitching along the bottom seam came apart and the filling spilled out. The jacket became unusable, and it also caused an error (E18) in our washing machine. We washed it strictly according to the care instructions.
We took the product to the store, explained the situation, and it was accepted for inspection. A return inspection receipt was issued (Record date: 05-1****25, Receipt No: 00630010203500020215). However, we received a message stating: “Your product inspection request (uı000011000) has not been approved as no manufacturing defect was found. Please pick up your product from our Mavibahçe store within 30 days. B016.”
Despite washing the jacket exactly as instructed, the bottom seams opened, the filling scattered inside the machine, and the jacket became unusable—this clearly indicates a product quality issue. It is unacceptable for a jacket purchased from a supposedly reputable brand to fall apart in such a short time, and for the responsibility to be placed on us after the inspection. We request that our complaint be resolved and our rights protected in full.
