Lufthansa Customer Service Has Not Returned My Lost Baggage
On September 6, 2023, I escorted my son to Denver via a connecting flight from Istanbul to Frankfurt. My son, a doctoral student in Denver, accidentally left his waist bag on the plane. Despite reporting it to Lufthansa, they provided no assistance. His phone signal was traced to the plane before it went offline, resulting in the loss of his passport, money, ID, and more. He suffered mistreatment and spent two days at the airport before assistance from the Berlin consulate. Lufthansa didn't arrange a return ticket or offer help, causing his doctoral studies to suffer. He returned to Ankara with visa, passport, and ID issues, facing financial and emotional distress, but Lufthansa remains unresponsive. We can't reach Lufthansa officials, and there's no one addressing our concerns. He boarded the Istanbul-bound plane with his passport, proving it was on your aircraft.
