I Was Shocked by L'Occitane's 100% Price Hike on 50ml Fragrances
Approximately one year ago, I purchased a 50 ml L'Occitane perfume from a physical retail store for around $50. Today, I noticed that the price for the exact same product has jumped to $106, and I find such a drastic increase in such a short period entirely unreasonable.
No rationale or explanation for this price surge was communicated to me via SMS, email, or in-store notices. Furthermore, while many well-known luxury fragrance brands in the market remain priced below this tier, L'Occitane applying such exorbitant pricing to this product is deeply troubling to me as a consumer.
Therefore, I demand that the pricing of the perfume in question be re-evaluated and reduced to a reasonable level, and that clear, transparent explanations for such extreme price increases be provided to consumers.
