L'Occitane Immortelle Products Caused Allergic Reaction

I purchased Immortelle products from L'Occitane for myself and my sister, and both of us experienced severe allergic reactions. When I went to the store to return the products, the sales representative initially acknowledged seeing similar complaints from other customers and agreed to help. However, five days later, I was contacted by the central office, and they insisted on a doctor’s report to process the return.

This requirement is unreasonable, especially since it was not mentioned when I initially raised the issue. My sister even informed the staff about her allergies when purchasing, yet no warnings were provided. The store staff accused me of lying about the reaction and dismissed the proof I offered via photos, claiming they couldn’t verify the date.

Adding insult to injury, L'Occitane quickly took back the products during the return process but refused to provide a refund. They insist on a doctor’s report but took the products away before I could have them tested. This inconsistency is frustrating, especially as I’ve returned products to other brands without such demands.

L'Occitane’s lack of concern for customer health and their sales-focused approach is disappointing. I urge them to reconsider their policies and prioritize customer well-being over profits. A full refund is the least they can do for the inconvenience caused.
