LG Gave Me a Faulty TV - Service Ignored My Repair Requests for Months

I purchased an LG television approximately 6 months ago. Just one week after buying it, we noticed a dark spot on the screen. When we contacted the service center, we were told the TV would be replaced. However, instead of providing a new TV, they repaired the unit and sent it back. This was the beginning of my trust issues with the brand. In March, another issue started: the screen began flickering and going black intermittently. Since it doesn’t happen all the time, I recorded the problem on video and created a service request. However, for a full month, no one contacted me. No calls, no messages—nothing. Despite several attempts and complaints, there was no response. Eventually, I had to call Kafkas, the authorized service, myself. They admitted, “We must have missed it.” When the technician came, the issue wasn’t visible at that moment. I showed them the video recording, but they said, “We don’t accept that as proof.” They took the TV to test it, saying, “We’ll run a 48-hour test and return it if there’s no issue.” However, a week passed with no updates. I assumed the TV was being repaired. Later, I found out they claimed the TV had no faults. If there was no issue, why did they keep it for an entire week without informing me? I called again. The person who took the TV didn’t even recognize me. I had to give my name, address, and number all over again. Then I was told to call the LG central office. After doing so, I finally received a call saying, “Your TV is not faulty. We’ll bring it back in 30 minutes.” Why didn’t anyone inform me earlier so I could plan accordingly? I checked their website and saw they had evening delivery service. I asked for the TV to be delivered in the evening. They said, “Not today, but we can bring it tomorrow evening.” I agreed. But the next day, no one answered the phone, and I couldn’t reach anyone. On top of all this, I was told that if no fault is found, there might be a service fee, but nothing is clearly communicated. In short, my experience with LG and Kafkas Service has been extremely disappointing. Communication is non-existent. With other companies, you receive a message or a call as soon as you register a service request. With LG, it’s like shouting into a void. No follow-up, no professionalism, no customer care. I completely lost my trust in the brand.
