I Bought LG’s Largest Fridge and It Keeps Breaking Down Within Months
We bought an LG refrigerator—one of the largest models available—in 2023 based on a recommendation, thinking we were investing in a reliable brand. But right from the start, we ran into issues. A warning icon appeared, and that was just the beginning of a long string of problems.
The service team came out, blamed the issue on the relay, then the motor, and made us wait nearly a month for parts. The motor was eventually replaced, but here we are again, just three months later, with yet another breakdown. And the technician’s dismissive attitude—saying “It’s probably the relay again, we’ll come when the part arrives” without even checking the unit—shows how little urgency LG puts into resolving customer problems. We’ve had to throw away all our food twice, and we’re tired of the repeated failures. This kind of experience doesn’t reflect the reputation LG claims to uphold.
