Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G3 ACL Electrical Leakage And Tingling Issue
On October 3, 2023, I purchased a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G3 ACL model laptop (serial number MP2D3WXC) from Hepsiburada. As soon as I received the product and connected it to the charger for initial setup, I noticed a troubling issue. There was an unsettling vibration or electric current sensation along the surface behind the laptop's screen, causing discomfort upon touch. This sensation is due to the laptop's adapter being configured with a 2-pin plug, lacking proper grounding. Consequently, voltage accumulates on the laptop's metal surface. My apartment's outlets all have grounding features, and they are connected to the building's grounding line, which I confirmed to be functioning correctly. This Lenovo product, purchased as an anniversary gift, has not only disappointed us but also brought stress and potential financial loss. The only solution is to use a 3-pin grounded charger, which is not an insignificant cost for end-users like us. Lenovo's oversight in sending a non-grounded adapter with a metal-cased notebook has tarnished our special day. I kindly request Lenovo to send a 3-pin grounded adapter to rectify this problem. This would provide a solution and correct the mistake. I will keep updating this complaint, and together, we will assess Lenovo's customer satisfaction. If a satisfactory solution isn't provided, and I face further financial losses, I will pursue the necessary actions through the Consumer Arbitration Committee. If I had chosen Asus, I might be enjoying a movie right now. Before considering Lenovo, please take this post into account.
