In February 2024, I purchased a Lacoste shirt, which soon developed noticeable color fading on the chest area. I’ve returned it twice for an inspection, but both times my return was denied, with the explanation that it was “user error.” I strongly believe this shirt was damaged due to intense spotlights in the store, as I had a similar issue with a previous purchase. That time, the store acknowledged the problem, explaining the discoloration was caused by folded display shirts exposed to direct lighting, and they exchanged it for me. This time, however, the defect was dismissed as my fault, which I find unfair. As a loyal Lacoste customer with around 15 items, I’ve never encountered such an issue before. I am requesting a return for this defective item and have attached a photo for reference. Please address this matter promptly.
