In July 2024, I bought a La Roche-Posay sunscreen from a pharmacy, confident in the brand’s quality. I took a short break from using it, but when I applied it again a week ago, it caused an immediate burning sensation on my face. On top of that, the product has a strong, overpowering spicy smell, unlike anything I’ve experienced with this brand before.
Although the burning feeling has since faded, the intense scent remains, and it’s honestly too unpleasant to use. I had to stop applying it altogether—the product has essentially gone to waste.
La Roche-Posay, this is unacceptable for a premium product purchased directly from a pharmacy. I urge you to investigate the batch quality and offer a refund or exchange. I trusted your brand for skin safety and reliability, but this experience left me disappointed and frustrated. Please take action.
