I ordered the La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C12 Serum from Trendyol, and it was delivered to me on July 3. As instructed, I used just a small amount—literally a dot—on the evening of July 4 to test it on my skin. When I woke up the next morning, my face was swollen, red, and clearly having an allergic reaction to the product.
I immediately requested a return and even submitted a photo of my face as proof of the reaction. But my return was denied simply because I had opened the package. How else was I supposed to know the product would cause such a severe reaction without opening it? This policy is incredibly unfair and shows a lack of concern for customer safety.
I paid a high price—₺—for a product I can’t use at all. Neither Trendyol nor La Roche-Posay has shown any responsibility or compassion. No one cared about what the product did to my skin; they only focused on the fact that the box was opened. This is completely unacceptable from a brand that markets itself as dermatologist-tested and safe for sensitive skin.
I expect La Roche-Posay to take accountability and approve my return immediately. I will not let this go unresolved. Please help.
