Koleston 8/63 Hair Dye Color Does Not Match the Box

On August 28, 2021, I purchased Wella Koleston Deluxe 8/63 Light Gold Rose Blonde hair dye from Gratis. My hair was previously a honey-blonde shade, close to light brown. The shade shown on the box also appeared to promise a similar, natural, and soft color.
I applied the product yesterday evening according to the instructions. However, the result was completely different from the color shown on the box. My hair turned a very orange shade, commonly referred to in Turkey as a “Hürrem” color, with a strong reddish tone. The product produced a result that was completely different from the color it appeared to promise, and this situation was extremely upsetting to me, both in terms of my appearance and emotionally.
So far, I have not contacted either the Gratis store or Koleston customer service. Honestly, I did not have much expectation of receiving a meaningful solution, as I was concerned that I would simply be offered a refund or told to “bring the dye in so we can take a look at it.” My main purpose in submitting this complaint is to prevent other consumers who are considering purchasing this product from experiencing the same disappointment and from being misled by the color shown on the packaging.
I request that Koleston take the significant difference between the color promised on the packaging and the actual result into consideration, conduct the necessary quality checks, and take appropriate action to prevent similar consumer complaints from occurring in the future.
