Wella Koleston 6/34 Hair Dye Color Mismatch Ruins My Look
I purchased Koleston 6/34 Copper Dark Blonde hair dye. The color on the box, which appeared to be a cinnamon-copper blend, matched the image perfectly. However, when I dyed my hair, the result was far from what I expected. The color turned out to be an odd mix between chestnut and wine red.
As someone with fair skin, this dark hair color doesn't suit my complexion at all. I was trying to save time and money by not going to a salon, but now I'm at a loss. Should I go to a hairdresser to strip the color? Or should I buy a lighter shade and try to dye over it (though I know light colors don't take well over dark ones)? I'm even considering legal action against Wella Koleston for this two-box dye job, but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle in this heat. Maybe I should just leave it to fate at this point.
