I previously purchased a ticket through Kiwi.com for a flight to the Philippines, but I was unable to use it because no changes were made despite my requests. As a result, my ticket, which cost approximately $156, was completely wasted. Even though I submitted my change requests on time and followed the process through the system, no solution was provided.
Through the same platform, I experienced a similar issue with another reservation (Booking ID: 761616284) that included my Denpasar–Tokyo and Osaka–Istanbul flights. Despite entering all my information correctly and submitting a request for changes, the requested modifications were never reflected in the system. Even though I followed all the steps properly, I received no results through the platform.
Although the delay in confirming the ticket was entirely caused by Kiwi.com, the ticket price increased during this waiting period, and I was asked to pay an additional $400. I do not accept being charged this price difference, as it was entirely due to the platform’s delay and outside of my control.
As a result of these two incidents, I have experienced both significant time loss and financial damage. Being affected in a similar way across two separate reservations raises serious concerns about the platform’s reliability. During my conversations with customer service, I was told to cancel my current reservation and purchase a new ticket at a much higher price. However, as they delayed the approval process, ticket prices continued to rise.
I request compensation for the damages I have suffered, including a refund of the approximately $156 ticket I could not use for my Philippines flight and the cancellation of the unjust $400 additional charge requested for my recent reservation. I also ask for a clear and satisfactory explanation regarding this process.
