Kiwi.com Fails to Honor Ticket, Leaves Traveler Stranded in Manila

Using a return ticket I had previously purchased through Kiwi.com, I traveled from Davao to Manila on December 19, 2025. When I went to the airport check-in counter for my onward Manila–Muscat (Oman) flight, I was informed that my reservation could not be found in the system and that no such booking existed. Even though I had purchased my ticket in advance, the flight did not appear in the system, which completely disrupted my travel plans and caused me serious hardship.

Because my trust in Kiwi.com was completely shaken, I was forced to purchase a new ticket at my own expense. Through Skyscanner, I booked a Gulf Air flight from Manila to Istanbul via Bahrain, paying a total of $453. As I previously stated, I had already paid $687 for the original ticket purchased through Kiwi.com. In other words, I paid a significant amount for a ticket that I was unable to use, and then had to incur a second major expense for the same journey.

After this incident, I contacted Kiwi.com via email. They only stated that they were sorry, but offered no concrete solution, no financial compensation, and took no meaningful steps to assist me. In addition, despite selling tickets in Turkey, they did not provide any official Turkish contact address, phone number, or tax office information. The fact that they only provided a foreign address, which is not considered sufficient by Turkish authorities, further increased my sense of grievance.

I am requesting that Kiwi.com refund the $453 I paid for the Manila–Bahrain–Istanbul return flight. In addition, I request that they provide written confirmation of their official office or representative details in Turkey, including a current postal address, phone number, and tax office/tax identification information.
