Kiwi.com Refuses to Refund My Canceled Cyprus Flight Booking
I purchased round-trip airline tickets to Cyprus through Kiwi.com for travel with AJet. On June 12, I paid a total of £216, which was charged to my salary card. The transaction amounted to approximately $377 at the exchange rate at the time of purchase.
Shortly after completing the booking, we learned that an additional ticket would be required for the return portion of the trip. Because of this unexpected issue, we canceled the reservation on the very same day it was purchased.
After the cancellation, I contacted Kiwi.com regarding the refund process. During our correspondence, I was informed that they could not return the payment to my credit card or salary card. I find this completely unacceptable, especially considering that the reservation was canceled immediately and no transportation service was provided.
Since the booking was canceled before any travel took place, I believe I am entitled to receive a full refund of the amount paid. There should be no justification for withholding the funds or refusing to return them to the original payment method.
I request that Kiwi.com refund the full £216 paid for the reservation, without any deductions, service fees, or additional charges. I also ask for a clear written explanation regarding why the refund has not been processed to my original payment card and for the matter to be resolved without further delay.
