Kayak Listed a Rental Company That Didn't Exist
I booked a rental car through Kayak.com, and the reservation was listed under Priceless / Priceline Car Rental. I was instructed to pick up the vehicle at Muğla Dalaman Airport, but when I arrived, there was no rental company by that name. I called the provided phone numbers repeatedly, but no one answered. Even the airport rental staff had never heard of the company.
I was also unable to reach Kayak.com for assistance. If this is supposed to be a trustworthy booking platform, how can it allow listings like this? There was no customer support available, and I lost $100 without any way to report the problem.
About an hour after my scheduled pickup time, I received a call from an unfamiliar number. I explained that I had already been waiting and asked where they had been. The caller could not give me a clear explanation and simply claimed they had brought the car, even though they could not explain where they were calling from or why no one had answered earlier. The entire situation felt misleading, and I believe I was treated unfairly.
