I used the JustAnswer service from Canada and joined through a webform that clearly stated I would be charged CAD 2 as a fully refundable amount. Based on this information, I understood that there would be no further charges beyond this refundable CAD 2 for simply joining. However, on 18 December 2025, my credit card was charged CAD 66 by JustAnswer. This amount was never clearly disclosed to me on the webform, and it contradicts the initial statement that I would only be charged CAD 2, which would be fully refundable. I consider this charge to be wrong and misleading, as it was not what I agreed to when I joined. I contacted JustAnswer about this billing issue, but I was informed that the charge was made as per their policy. This response does not address the fact that the webform I used explicitly mentioned only a CAD 2 fully refundable charge and did not make clear that I would be billed CAD 66. I request a full refund of the CAD 66 that was charged to my credit card and the cancellation of any membership or recurring billing related to this transaction so that I am not charged again in the future. I also ask that the information on the joining webform be clarified so that other users are not misled in the same way.
