Jobseeker Deducting Money From My Accout Without My Acknowledgement

3

I am a Jobseeker user from Rustenburg, North West, South Africa, and on 10 May 2026, an amount of R299 was deducted from my PayPal account for a subscription renewal that I did not knowingly approve. The subscription was renewed without my knowledge or explicit consent, and I was not clearly informed that any further payments would be taken. I contacted Jobseeker about this unauthorized renewal, and I was told that they would get back to me, but I have not received any further response or resolution. I find it unacceptable that money can be taken from my account in this way and that my follow-up has been ignored. I request a full refund of the R299 that was deducted via PayPal and the cancellation of any active or recurring subscription linked to my account. I also ask that Jobseeker review how renewals are handled and ensure clearer communication and consent before charging customers.
