I am writing regarding an unauthorized transaction that was made today around midnight on my EcoCash VCN card. An amount of USD 20.19 was taken from my account as a card payment to “Jobseeker 9gEEYzMt Amsterdam NLD” with approval code IP260319.0608.T4758790, after which my new balance became USD 29.55. I did not authorize this payment and I have no relationship with this Jobseeker service, so I consider this transaction to be fraudulent. This amount is extremely important for me because it is the only money I have for today to pay my bus fee, and not receiving it back today will seriously affect my daily life. For this reason, I request that this transaction be treated as an urgent fraud case and that the USD 20.19 be refunded to my account today if at all possible. In addition, I ask that my EcoCash VCN card used for this payment be blocked or replaced so that no further unauthorized payments can be made. I expect EcoCash to inform me as soon as possible in writing about the steps taken, the outcome of the investigation and when exactly the refund will reach my account.
