JBL Does Not Supply Spare Parts

In November, I bought a JBL Live Beam 3 earphone for my wife from Japan. Last week, the left earbud accidentally fell into the sea. I emailed JBL’s support page and was told that they do not sell individual earbuds. I also called Aztek, JBL’s authorized service provider in Turkey, and they confirmed that single earbuds are not sold separately. I can’t understand how such a global brand can leave its customers in such a difficult position. I know many others who have faced the same issue. Now we either have to make do with just one earbud or buy a completely new set. JBL has turned out to be a disappointment for me.
Dear Customer, Best regards, JBL Customer Service

Although the product is from abroad, Aztek Teknoloji was interested in the issue. However, since JBL does not sell single parts, they could not offer a solution. Even though they do not sell it themselves, they offered a 15% discount if I buy a new one. Today, the product was 9,500 TL at Media Markt. With the discount, it comes to around 8,000 TL. The penalty for losing a single earbud is 8,000 TL. By not selling spare parts, JBL is punishing us. By the way, even if I bought the product domestically, the solution would be the same. I don't know what kind of solution those who reported their other issues as resolved received. JBL = regret. I will also take the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board. Since mine is from abroad, it may not result positively, but those who bought it domestically should definitely apply. They are obliged to supply spare parts.
