iPhone 13 Moisture Damage Labeled User Error And Repair Refused By Apple

November 20, 2025 5:13 PM32

About two months ago, the iPhone 13 I purchased was damaged due to moisture from being in my pocket. First, the front camera stopped working, and the next day the phone began turning on and off by itself. Two weeks ago, I went to Apple’s store where they said they would send the device to service and took my phone without giving me a replacement. When I went back today to collect it, I was told the issue was a user error and that I could get a new phone for ₺30,000. However, my device is covered by insurance and warranty. I cannot accept that damage caused by pocket moisture is considered my fault or that Apple products are this fragile. I paid nearly ₺40,000 in total for this phone, not to throw it away. My device wasn’t repaired, and I was left without a phone for two weeks, causing significant hardship. I urgently request that my issue be resolved and my grievance addressed.
