Indeed Scam Job Ad Asked ₺600 via Fake Decathlon Website

I applied to a Home Office job posting from Beyaz Bilişim Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi on Indeed. Through the platform, they sent me a message redirecting me to https://www.kariyerdecathlon.online/
. When I visited the page, I saw that communication was carried out through WhatsApp.

They claimed they would send me equipment such as a computer to work from home. However, they asked me to make a ₺600 payment to the account information they provided as “security” and to send them the receipt. At this stage, I did not proceed because I did not trust the request, and I deleted the personal information I had shared.

I am filing this complaint as a precaution. When I called the official Decathlon company, they confirmed that I should not trust postings outside of LinkedIn or Kariyer.net.

My personal details — including my full name, home address, IBAN, and phone number — were collected. Starting from May 8, 2025, I declare that I am not responsible for any accounts, credit lines, deeds, properties, workplaces, checks, promissory notes, or any unlawful transactions opened under my name.

With this complaint, I formally declare that I will not accept any legal liability for bank accounts, loans, subscriptions, companies, or any other illegal activity opened or carried out under my name without my consent and wet signature.

I hereby officially notify the relevant authorities through this statement and request that necessary action be taken. I am filing a complaint.
