iData Leaves Our Germany Visa Appointment Pending for Over 6 Months

On December 23, 2025, we applied through iData in Altunizade, Istanbul for a tourist visa appointment for Germany for two people, under my husband Fatih's name. Our son is studying in Germany, and since we had received a tourist visa to Germany last year as well, we applied again this year the same way. Despite this, more than 6 months have now passed, and an appointment still hasn't been assigned, with no concrete progress made regarding the process.
We paid a total of $76 for this application, on behalf of two people. As the wait dragged on, we contacted iData by phone, but each time we were simply told "the appointment is pending," with no clear date given and no explanatory information shared about why the process has taken this long.
Our son's university graduation ceremony is on October 9th, and we want to attend this ceremony. Having an appointment request that was made and paid for months ago still be pending is causing us hardship, and as a family, we're worried about being unable to make it in time for this date, which means a great deal to us.
I am requesting that our appointment be assigned as soon as possible, especially taking our son's graduation date into account, and that we be given clear and transparent information about why our application has remained unresolved for so long. I want the process to be expedited and our situation resolved.
