After Four Months, Hyundai Still Hasn't Fixed My Electric Kona

On June 26, 2023, we experienced a traffic accident in Izmit with our Hyundai Kona Electric. The vehicle sustained minor damage, and within 2 hours, we dropped it off at the Hyundai Fertan authorized service center in Kocaeli Basiskele. What followed was a seemingly never-ending process involving appraisals, file opening, damage assessments, and parts ordering, but we remained patient. After an extensive wait of 2-2.5 months, the necessary parts finally arrived. However, the service center then revealed a previously unseen issue with the axle, ordering new parts and leaving us waiting for an additional 20 days. When we hoped for the completion of the repair, they informed us that they couldn't get the car running and were unsure of the problem. They requested technical support and after an examination, they identified a malfunction in a component they likened to the "brain of the electric motor." They ordered the part, but it has yet to arrive. As a result, we've been unable to use our vehicle for 4 months. Not once did they reach out with updates, and we've been left to constantly call for information. Hyundai has been a source of deep regret from day one.
