Hyundai i20: Persistent Electronic System Issues and Service Center Problems


I purchased a brand new 0km 2023 model i20 car from Odak Istanbul dealer on October 4, 2023, and within 2 days of delivery, I encountered an issue related to the car's electronic system not allowing it to start. The car has been taken to the service center four times due to this problem. In addition, it required jump-starting by road assistance services 4-5 times using a temporary battery boost outside the service center. During the initial service center visit (a few days after the purchase), the battery was replaced, but the issue persisted. Subsequent visits to the service center involved charging the battery, yet the problem recurred. Despite discussions with Hyundai Assan customer representatives assuring follow-up on the issue, I haven't received a response for a refund or exchange for over two weeks. Furthermore, when calling the (0216) 571 63 63 number, the operator never answers. The car isn't suitable for proper use, as it requires daily start-ups for battery charging, which isn't feasible given my work commitments. I'm filing a complaint against Hyundai.

It's been about 3 weeks since I applied, and Hyundai doesn't care at all; this is unacceptable. No response has been made, so it will have to be resolved through the court.

There has still been no response.
