Hypic Charged Me $7 After I Canceled My Subscription

I purchased a one-month subscription to the Photo Editor & AI Art (Hypic) app for $1. I paid the subscription upfront and canceled it through the app before the one-month period ended to make sure it would not renew automatically.

Despite canceling my subscription, I discovered while reviewing my bank transactions that $7 had been charged from my bank account on July 22, 2026, with the description "epos Google Hypic Photo 6429 2207." I never authorized this transaction. I have not yet contacted Google or my bank about the charge and have only submitted a complaint through the app. What makes the situation even more confusing is that the bank account used for this payment is not registered anywhere within the app or the related platforms, leaving me unable to understand how or why this payment was processed.

The screenshots I attached clearly show the $7 charge dated July 22, 2026. They also show that my Hypic Membership is still listed as active with an expiration date of August 11, while another screen simultaneously encourages me to subscribe again to the Hypic Membership monthly – HypicPro plan for $6 per month. This inconsistency is extremely confusing because I canceled the subscription before its renewal date, yet it still appears active while an additional unauthorized charge has been taken from my account.

I request that the unauthorized $7 transaction be canceled and refunded in full. I also ask Hypic and Google Play to clarify the actual status of my subscription, ensure that it has been properly canceled, and prevent any further unauthorized charges from being processed.
