Hypic App Wrongfully Charged Without Consent On iPhone

September 15, 2025 9:57 AM228

On September 15, 2025, at 09:20, the Hypic Photo Editor app charged ₺250 to my Akbank credit card without my consent. I was using the app on my iPhone, downloaded through the App Store. The app had stated that a free trial was available, but I never approved any subscription, nor was I informed that one had started.

Despite this charge, I could not even access the Pro features, which made the situation even more unacceptable. As soon as I noticed the issue, I canceled the subscription immediately.

So far, I have not contacted either Hypic customer service or Apple support, but I want to make it clear that I do not accept this unauthorized withdrawal.

I am demanding a full refund of the ₺250 that was wrongfully charged to my account and urgent assistance in resolving this issue. Customers must be protected from unauthorized and misleading charges.
