Hummel Waterproof Outdoor Shoes Discount Not Applied at Checkout

A discount was advertised, and the Hummel store staff also mentioned the discount during the sales process, so I decided to purchase the product. However, at the checkout, the discount applied was not as stated. They told me they could only apply whatever discount appeared in their system. They also claimed that the waterproof outdoor shoes I bought were considered boots and therefore excluded from the promotion. The discount ended up being only 10%. I purchased the shoes because I liked them, but I will file official complaints with the Consumer Arbitration Board and the Ministry of Trade at the first opportunity.
